Small, lithe frame moved quickly through the forest. This forest was… new… different. Ever smell, every sight… every touch of every leaf… But as different as everything seemed to her now… it was all the same. It was so familiar, not the area itself but the habitat she was in. The forest, this was everything to her, it was where she was born and raised in her old clan. She loved the smells the sights, everything… it was familiar. But whether or not she loved it or not… it would never reach her expressions… her every thought, feeling… it will never surface, because to be a great leader… never let your emotions get the best of you, but better yet… if something tragic were to happen… she would remain calm and thoughtful. To stay strong for the clan.
But she will never be leader.
Seemingly ‘delicate’ pawsteps slowed down to a cautious walk. What was that she scented in the air? Cats… The she-cat froze… seemingly in midstep. The moon was high sending its beautiful rays through the trees, stars glittered the sky. Silver blue eyes looked to the wonder above her and glared. StarClan...oh how she resented them. They took away her clan… they took away her brothers… and now they were giving her their blessing to go on. After six moons of hating them… they still are following her every move? How dare they? It seemed as she stumbled upon this land the sky grew more beautiful. Should she follow what they are trying to tell her? Or should she rebel against the very thing that stole away her means for living?
The silver female sat, just within the borders of this clan… if she scented them correctly, they should be picking her scent up soon and should be heading her way to see who was in their terra. She would have enough time to run if need be… but… The moon shifted… and a ray of its silver/white and blue light landed upon her. Making her silver coat shimmer and her eyes glow… the faint tabby markings on her body seemed to show up more as well, making her pelt seem like it is the markings of faint rain. Well that would be where she earned her name, Silverrain, her given warrior name by the leader of the clan and her mother.
The scents of cats were growing stronger… she has missed her chance to flee from this place. But something was drawing her to the forest. Could this be what she was searching for? Could…they know what she was longing for? The female snorted lightly, of course not. Numerous times this female tried to tell herself that it was only coincidence… but… her mother passed to StarClan… would that be why StarClan seemed to know her every feeling? Her face stayed neutral, betraying nothing towards what she was thinking and feeling. Voices were heard… and the she-cat lowered her head, so be it… she will choose this to be her new home… if these unknown clan cats would have her.
But she will never be leader.
