Name: Silverrain
Age: Thirty-six Moons
Clan: ThunderClan
Rank: Deputy
Gender: She-cat
Appearance: Beautiful, that is the only word to describe this lovely feline. Her figure is slim, lithe perfect for agility and quick movements. At first to one onlooker this feline would seem delicate, with her figure and her paws to match, but that my dear friend is the opposite of what she can do. Of course she is neither brawny nor bulky but she has a quick paw and a quick temper. Her body size is small, but of course it is, it needs to match her lithe frame... so it balances everything out so she does not look scrawny... most would underestimate her size... not a very good idea.
Never judge a book by its cover.
Her fur is a darker silver, shimmery and it is nice to the touch and she gives off a nice floral scent. But there are faint, lighter silver markings that indicate that she is of the tabby breed… but this is where she earned her name. Silverrain… the light silver markings reminded the cat that named her, of rain…although those markings are quite faint. Her fur is neither long nor short, and it is smooth and silky to the touch, yet it is thick and keeps her warm through the long moons of leafbare.
Although she is of the tabby breed, her figure is not as bulky and her facial structure slightly slimmer… but not to the extent of the Siamese. Her eyes are silver with a light blue tinge, and with a darker grey ring around the iris, giving them a cold look. So yes gorgeous to the eyes of the beholder, slender, stunning to look upon; yet there is something about the lack of emotion in her attractive eyes that most do not understand.
This she-cat walks with a sense of pride, her head is held high and her eyes are proud, never revealing what she is truly feeling. Her expressions are very limited, ranging from cold, dark…and she never smiles, not to anyone… unless someone has stolen her heart. Her expressions are quite confident, she looks like she knows what she is doing. But sometimes she can give off a mean aura, but do not let her looks fool you… never judge a book by its cover.
Personality: Silverrain might, to some cats, seem cold, distant. She does not look upon others to socialize, rather she only speaks if something is needed to be said, or that there is work that needs to be done and it involves speaking to another feline to do so. Even then her voice seems, robotic… like she is incapable of expressing her feelings and what she truly wants in a normal fashion. Her expressions are usually… expressionless; she does not show much emotion at all… only if she is alone she will fall back into that cat that she used to be. Yes there is an emotional feline underneath her tough as nails exterior.
She is loving, and she is said to have a beautiful smile, that lights up her face. She truly cares for another’s well being and she wants to be cared for in return. Yet reality has often struck her that there will be no other that will love her for her… she wants someone to look past her beauty and look inside her to find the real her… the feline that she is.
She knows she is beautiful, but she does not use it against others, she does not flaunt herself… seeing as she does not want that kind of attention. She is odd, most females would feel flattered that one would notice their outer appearance… but she feels insulted… hurt, realizing that is all that they would see in her.
But when it comes to business, she is commanding and has an obvious leadership aura. She is able to stay calm in situations that are in need of haste, and is able to come up with solutions to problems, by coming up with ideas to help. She is very intelligent and she will use this to her advantage, as well as her sarcasm. If the other is plainly being an idiot she will subtly let him/her know that he/she is being so… using the sarcasm that she has inherited from her head strong mother. But that is not all she is… when getting to know her better… when breaking into that thick barrier of hiding her emotions you will see who she truly is.
History: She was born in a clan to the north east, it was the only cat clan there was there in miles. They were like the clans that you would find here, they worshiped StarClan and honoured and followed the warrior code. Her mother… happened to be the leader of the group and she was mesmerized by her. But do not get me wrong she had her kits before she became leader, so she did not break any rules, but her story is irrelevant. So Silverkit grew and she earned her warrior title, Silverrain, she had two twin brothers that looked up to their sister as much as Silverrain looked to her mother. Silver was well respected within the clan, yet envied because her mother was leader… and it seemed that her mother favoured her daughter and sons above all the other warriors.
Her kithood was simple, but she was not like most kits… other kits would have preferred to play, but she wanted to learn how to lead. She always left the nursery following her mother’s pawsteps, she wanted to do everything her mother did. Plus… it also seemed that Silverkit was slightly more mature than her brothers and the other kits in the nursery… so she took charge of them easily and they followed.
Apprenticeship; although it may seem corny her mentor was the deputy of the clan, she was a joy to teach and she learned quickly. She did at first lack in strength… but her mentor worked her through that… working on her speed and agility gave her the muscle power to grow in strength. But obviously not to the point of the strength of males… but she was quick and she was expected to win battles with her speed.
And it was true, though her battle scars have healed.
Most of the males in the clan, always looked at Silverrain like she was a toy, to be played with… and then thrown away after they were done with their fun. She felt uncomfortable and she never got herself close to any of the males. But, nonetheless if Silverrain gave a command they would follow. She was head warrior and the older warriors accepted that because of how she led. She knew how to take command and how to sort things out, plus she was a responsible she-cat and put her clan before all else. The current deputy in the clan was getting older… so her mother told the deputy to start training a new one, to show them the ropes… now this deputy admired Silverrain so he began to spend time with her once again (like good ol times), and in time she was heading to be the next deputy once this one got too old.
One night, the clan was attacked… by a pack of wolves. The wolves were thin starving... but yet they still over powered the clan and destroyed all but three warriors. Silverrain and her two brothers, these three had been gone to another clan to offer something to the leader there… and it was a while before they returned to the camp…and found everyone dead. Her mother… although she still had her nine lives… they were ripped from her… a wolf had torn off her head… her apprentice, the cuddly little male that would do anything for her… and her clan. Silverrain was devastated…but she had seen that her brothers were worse off. Glaring at StarClan… Silverrain began to hate StarClan for what they had done to the clan. She would acknowledge that StarClan was there… but she will never forgive them for what they have done. It was only her and her brothers left, and since Silverrain always wanted to be a leader… this was the opportunity that she needed. So like a good older sister, at two and a half years, she played mother, and leader… giving her brothers a sense of leadership so they have something to go by in their lives.
But apparently that was what they didn’t need, they did not want this cold leader, pretending to be what she was not… their mother. They needed a sister to be there for them… but since the accident she had changed into something that was like a bad mirror image of their mother. They left her then… so she was utterly alone in this world. But she kept her pride in… well she let it show that she still had some pride left. So she traveled in search of something that will give her a sense of purpose in her life. Possibly she would find a mate… friends… and possibly she would be able to be the leader she knows that she is inside.
On her travels she played as a loner in search for a new clan…but yet she could not let go of her bitterness against the clan that lived on in the sky. Why should she? And because of that simple grudge… she could not approach the clans that believed in a higher power… although the stars shone brightly each time she tried. After a few months of wandering… she could feel the weight of shame on her heart. What was she doing? After all it was the wolves that had attacked her clan… not StarClan themselves… but they let it happen. Silverrain ran that over in her head and she was at least able to look at the sky without complete hate… although she was still slightly bitter. Maybe time will heal… time in a clan that would ease her back into the cat she used to be. To find a new clan that has the same beliefs as her old one.
Her travels were over all uneventful… but the she-cat… thinks that she might have stumbled across a new terra full of clan/like cats. She was now thirty six moon’s old, which for a female that is not that old… she is still in her prime. It was not hard to decide where she was going when she entered the terra. Straight for the forest, the forest is where she was born and so that is where she would feel more comfortable, and she would be in her element as well. As she was walking she stumbled across a small group of cats who seemed to be checking the borders. Now this perked her interest, since it reminded her of her old clan… and she wondered if they believed in the same StarClan she knew of… although she resented now.
Eventually she was met by the clan leader… and he took the name ‘star’. So they did believe in StarClan. When her eyes lay upon the leader, he was as small as she was, and only slightly younger. It seemed to her like his mouth was diseased, but she guess that it was not… or he would not be well enough to be leader. Seeing as she was small as he, she knew he used speed to gain in battle, so respect clearly shone in her silver blue eyes. But she would never voice it. ThunderClan… was what it was called, the leader explained to her everything… and it was no different than her other clan… this… it felt like … home. Yet… it would never be the same seeing as her family is gone. But she can adapt.
Picture:If I give an image would someone black and white it for me? I have found a really good one, but it is not quite silver.
