Other Accounts: None (for now...)
Name: WhiteShadow (Whitepaw, Whitekit, White (called before he was in RiverClan)
Age (in moons): Twenty Moons
Clan:RiverClan
Rank: Warrior
Gender: Male
Appearance: A Longhair white and cream with one brown and one blue eye and one scar on his right eye. The eye with the scar is his blue eye which twitches now and then when he is excited. His cream and white pelt makes his shadow almost disappear (hence the name) and having a long pelt he rarely gets cold from leaf-bare. His body structure is slim but due to the heavy fur he looks a little on the chubby side. His right paw is missing two claws due to the dog fight that happened moons ago and his tail is missing the tip but has healed since then. He has one brown foot which is his left back one.
Personality: WhiteShadow is a very noble warrior and is very close to kits and elders. He can be very testy and usually lets out his rage on his warrior clan mates at times but tries his best to keep calm. He is known for yelling out taunting songs while in battle to make fun at the other clans. He is also known for being hot headed with females as his mother left four of the five kits at the RiverClan entrance. As cruel and mean as he sounds he is a big cuddle friend to kits male or female and loves to keep them entertained and happy. But he also respects the elders and cares for them when the apprentices are not around.
History:Born with five brothers and sisters he was the only one to survive through the tough leaf-bare many moons ago with only his one sister Waterkit. As a kit his closest friend was his sister who died the day after she became an apprentice from dog attacks. The night before he became a warrior he saw the dog and tried to attack it. He has still build up a hatred for dogs but also a fear. He has never told anyone of this fear. Being a RiverClan warrior he fights very agile and almost floats across the terrain. He tries his best to prove to his clan but when that is not enough he uses the fighting techniques a fox taught him. He had befriended the foxes when he saved them from a hut collapse and now has given them peace between him and the foxes. During his stages as a kit he wandered quite far many time and was scolded severely. He had taken a hunting patrol and caught a mouse but also almost died. After he had become an apprentice he still traveled out but when he became a warrior he straightened up and now obeys the warrior code as if he had since the start. He does however visit his loner friends once in awhile to catch up as many of his mothers friends were loners as she was. He hopes one day to find out where she is and why she left him and his siblings that cold leaf-bare day.
Into the Forest
Why doesn't anyone trust me? What did I ever do wrong?
These were the thoughts of Whitekit as he walked around in the nursery. It seemed as if every cat made sure he had no part. He would make a difference he just knew it!
"Waterkit come on! The flowers are moving faster!" Whitekit taunted. It was night. The moon shone over each kit's pelt which made them seem like glittering rocks floating over a river. Whitekit decided to take his sister Waterkit out on a hunting patrol to prove they were worth something. They had caught a mouse which Whitekit held happily in his jaws.
"What's the matter?" Whitekit questioned tilting his head to the right? Waterkit didn't answer. She only mouthed out Owl. Whitekit's tail twitched with terror and excitement. He then turned his head in her direction to see a White and Brown Barn owl staring them straight in the face ten fox lengths away. He then looked next to him. Waterkit was gone!
The owl readied himself for the hunt. Whitekit then burst out running in the direction his nose told him to. A couple fox-lengths later he bumped into Waterkit which sent them tumbling down into an abandoned fox hole.
"You abandoned me!"
"No I went to get help!"
"Yeah right, your just like mom."
Waterkit was taken aback. Whitekit then wished he could take it back.
"I didn't mean-" He was cut off by the sound of the owl screeching. He then heard it fly away. Waterkit then climbed out, tail down. Whitekit soon followed. "Waterkit-"
"Quiet."Her tone was sharp as a badgers teeth. "It might come back. Lets just not talk for the rest of the night."
Whitekit felt his heart take another stab. He nodded sadly and followed behind her.
Hoot.
Waterkit and Whitekit stopped dead in their tracks. On the right side was the owl. None could move. Both were so taken aback they couldn't think of what to do. The owl then jumped off the perch and came straight for Waterkit. Whitekit suddenly jumped in front and bit the owls leg. It screeched and raked it's claw along his right eye. Whitekit leg go yowling in pain. The owl flew away from the sound stunned.
"What were you thinking? You should have known better" one of the warriors had said. Whitekit was in the medicine cat den his right eye closed. He dared not to open it in fear he couldn't see with it. Waterkit was next to him saying it was all her fault if she hadn't had froze up. Whitekit assured her it was his. He should have fought like a real warrior. "Come on sooner or later you'll have to open it." His foster mother cooed. He finally stood up from the fresh bedding and opened his eye. I can see! His eyes shone happily. HE turned to his sister who already knew. "I'm so glad your alright!" she squealed.
"Now don't think you'll go unpunished." his foster mother warned. You'll both not be leaving the nursery until you become apprentices you got that?" Her tone was strict but both Waterkit and Whitekit knew she was still caring. The both nodded and walked into the nursery. Whitekit still knew he would carry the scar on his eye forever.
Pain Strikes Again
"Whitepaw! Waterpaw!Whitepaw!Waterpaw!" Whitepaw could still hear his name ringing in his head as he laid down to sleep. Waterpaw's white and almost dark blueish pelt lay next to him.
"Get some sleep you fuzzy fur-ball, we have lot of work tomorrow and I don't want you to mess me up." Her tone was playful but still serious. They had rekindled their friendship nd family bondage as they were the last of their kind. He wouldn't let anything happen to his sister. Nothing...
"Whitepaw you better hurry up if you want to see the borders or you'll be cleaning up the elders bedding and picking out tick!" Waterpaw's voice called into his ear. His eyes jolted open and he quickly got up and shook himself. "Ready," he said as he exited out of their new den. They bounced on over to their mentors. "Ready!" both cried in unison.
"And this is where the border between RiverClan and ThunderClan is." Whitepaw's mentor said. Whitepaw hissed at the ThunderClan side. "How pathetic." Waterpaw hit him on the head. "Mouse-brain. ThunderClan has helped us before. I wouldn't break the semi-bond now." she said. Whitepaw then looked at his sister. "Sorry." and bonded off. Waterpaw chased after him only to be quickly running. The sounds of dogs weren't far away.
"Run!" both mentors said as they bounded along. Both mentors helped Waterpaw and Whitepaw climb into the tree not far away. Two snarling dogs came by the tree. Foam seeped through their mouth, eyes wide with blood lust.
"I can't hold on! I'm slipping!" Waterpaw's scared meows came. Whitepaw quickly grabbed her around the scruff to hold her tight.
"I can't hold on!" He muffled with Waterpaw's fur in his mouth. The last thing Waterpaw ever said was only the screams of terror coming from her mouth. Whitepaw watched in terror as his sister died. He couldn't take it. He jumped to fight back but his mentor
quickly stopped him.
"Nooo! I have to help her!"
Revenge causes Pain too...
Whitepaw trugged through the forest two sparrows in his jaws. He knew he was going to become a warrior tomorrow as he overheard his leader and mentor talking about it. He couldn't help but fee anger under his paws.
If only... If only I hadn't had been so STUPID! He screamed in his head.
Waterpaw would be here with me... becoming a warrior with me.
He then heard something he hadn't heard in a long time. The sound... that horrid sound... the horrid sound that muffled out my sisters cries for help... Dogs.
He quickly dropped the sparrows and darted up by a Twoleg fence. He saw the dog in the Twoleg backyard. It's eyes still crazy, foam seeping through... He knew now that he was trained. He could take this pile of mouse-dung any day. He lunged at it. It seemed smaller more defenseless now. He hissed... spit. He then felt the pain. His tail had been nicked. blood rushed through his ears. he felt as if he were going to die.
"No!" He yowled and bit down with all force on the dogs ear. It yelped in pain and let go. He spat blood on it's fur and run out.
He had taken revenge on the dog but lost two claws and part of his tail doing so. He knew he would never get those two claws back. But the dog could keep them. He had taken revenge and redeemed his sisters name.
When he returned he made up a lie. No clan member would know he risked his life or took revenge. He attacked a Twoleg. That's what he did. He would never tell his tale to a soul. Only those in StarClan knew... and he knew they were deeply disappointed in him for attacking without a reason and only for his sake. He then vowed to not disobey the warrior code as long as he lived.
