History:
Kit: Eaglekit pounced on his father’s tail, after stalking him through out the camp. Of course his father knew, he was just playing along. Eaglekit yowled with triumph, and let go of his father’s striped, grey tail. “You’ll make a great warrior some day!” he meowed to his son. Eaglekit drew his paw over his ear a few times, embarrassed. “Now, go back to the nursery,” He father began. “Your mother will be very worried.” Eaglekit hung his head. He didn’t want to go back to the nursery, but his father was watching him, so he turned around and padded over to the nursery.
Apprentice: Eaglepaw was curled up in a tight ball in the corner of the medicine cat den. His face felt better, but he shivered at the thought of the battle. The tabby he was fighting had caught him off guard, and he suffered for it. The tabby’s claws scraped down the left side of his face. But Mintfeather had already put marigold and cobwebs, so it didn’t bother him to much. He got up and stretched, and then walked out of the den for some fresh air. Then it hit him. He knew what would make him feel better. A story told by the elders! With his mind made up, he headed towards the elder’s den. “Hello, Eaglepaw!” a friendly voice called. “You seem to be feeling better. That was a nasty battle.” Eaglepaw entered the den and saw Silverpool looking at him. “You seem to want a story,” she observed. Eaglepaw nodded and sat down where he stood, so he could still get some fresh air.
“And that’s the end of it.” Silverpool said a little later. As Eaglepaw got up to stretch, An anxious yowl sounded over the camp. “I can’t find her!” Eaglepaw recognized as his father’s voice. “My mate! She’s gone!” Eaglepaw lept to his paws. “Mom!” he cried out, shocked.
Current: Eaglefeather stalked over to the elders den, a small vole in his mouth. To his surprise, there is a small crowd of kits and apprentices gathered in front of Leafberry. “Ahhhh! The mouse is much appreciated, Eaglefeather. Would you like to stay for the rest of the story?” Eaglefeather dropped the vole at Leafberry’s paws and shook his head. He headed out of the den and almost yowled out in pain. The last time he heard a story told by an elder was almost just before his mother mysteriously disappeared. He didn’t want to relive the pain that he went through as an apprentice. He bit back tears and padded to the warriors den, trying not to remember.
