Yuki padded quietly around GhostClan territory. He hadn't really had much time to check things out before he had been dragged to the camp and fainted out of weakness. Now, he was more or less recovered and was interested in the territory he would be living in from now on.
Without even realizing it, the mute tom had eventually crossed into ThunderClan territory. His pale, gray fur glittered in the weak, leaf-bare sun light that fluttered through the canopy of trees. His rich, green eyes scanned the area, noting every detail. Yuki noticed that the land was becoming more and more unfamiliar as the time ticked by, and the scenery was hanging. The soil was softer, and more green, shrubby plants were around. He soon came to the conclusion that he was not on his grounds. The small tom looked around, not able to tell or not if he was on Clan territory. This was not good. If he was discovered, he would likely be attacked, in which case he'd have to run, which could possibly lead the Clans to his territory.

The small ThunderClan leader had been hunting, when he had decided to climb the maple tree that he was now perched in, looking down at the small gray cat. His original intention had been to see how ThunderClan territory was faring as newleaf approached, and instead, he had noticed the small tom apprentince wandering through his land.
It was strange, the colourpoint tom thought, as he watched the clearly confused feline, that an apprentince had strayed so far into ThunderClan territory. Indeed, Yuki, unknowingly, had traversed a good deal of the forest cat's land. It was also strange to the leader that an apprentince was unfamiliar with the clan borders.
Claystar's thin, whiplike tail twitched ever so slightly as he watched the strange cat. He was irritated, but the cat was doing no harm yet. He'd watch him, see what he was doing. And then, he'd interrogate, and figure out which clan he was from. It was confusing, for even though Claystar's nose wasn't the best in the world, he could distinguish the clans in his sleep. And this cat didn't smell of any of them. More bizarre than that, was that he didn't smell of loner or two leg either. A small sigh escaped the dark and silver grizzled muzzle of the ThunderClan leader. Couldn't people just stay on their own territory?

Yuki swallowed nervously. There was no way out, just unfamiliar land building up around him. The skinny tom slowed to a stop, looking frantically around. A few cracks echoed through the woods, and a rabbit darted in front of him, pausing for a moment before crashing through the undergrowth again. Yuki had nearly jumped out of his fur. He trembled where he stood; he had been sure it was an enemy cat. The young cat too a deep breath, trying to pull himself together. He closed his eyes and brushed against a nearby tree. He stopped and opened his green eyes.
Claw marks? There were claw marks on the base of the tree. That proved it. Other cats lived here! He really was in Clan territory. Yuki looked around, and turned back to where he believed he came from. 'If I just retrace my steps...' he thought, cautiously thinking of the possible outcomes. It wasn't like he had following a straight path, so it would be difficult to go the exact way back. He was so used to his own scent, as well, making it hard to track. This wasn't going to be easy... Yuki knew relatively where his territory was, but not to the point where he could go directly back.

The gray tom was confused, noted the colourpoint in the tree. Claystar's thin tail twitched as he looked down at the poor thing as he examined the base of the tree he was in, and walked around before coming to a halt. Did he not know to keep an I on the tree? Whoever mentored this cat needed to do a little better. If he even had a mentor.
Moonpaw didn't have a mentor yet, either. Trickstar hadn't chosen one. It would have been him if he hadn't been promised to Fawnpaw-- who had recently succumbed to illness as well. He needed to find a mentor for her, not that there were many to choose from.
Shaking himself from his thoughts, he looked at the grey tom again. It bothered him that he smelled of a clan, but not one he knew. Was that possible? Perhaps he was just a kittypet who lived with a bunch of other kittypets. Or a small rogue band. That sometimes happened. Eitherway, it was unnerving.
The apprentince would have to be escorted home, and since no one else was handy, he'd have to take him. With a small sigh, he small tom bounded down the tree, the small brown marking on his hip flexing as his legs and gravity propelled him. Rather than being silent about it, he made it rather loud-- so that the tom would hear and turn to him. At the base of the tree he stopped, and looked at the grey stranger-- his amber eyes tinted with a slight confusion and annoyance, but not the hate that came from so many.

Yuki practically jumped out of his fur as he heard a noise behind him. The skinny tom whipped around, only to see another cat before him. Just by breathing in because of shock, he was able to tell that it was a Clan cat. He backed up a bit, not sure where to go. If he ran, he would probably end up more lost then he was now. If he stayed, it was possible that this cat could attack. However, by looking him over, Yuki noted that he didn't seem too hostile.
His reaction wasn't like most cats, however. Yuki's face remained blank, and his fur didn't bristle at all. However, his green eyes seemed to be overflowing with fear. He was dying to open up and say something, to make an excuse, or plead for help, but his disabilities wouldn't allow that to happen. Yuki swallowed, beginning to breath faster. He was desperate for a solution, but no matter where he looked, there seemed to be no way out of this mess. If nothing else, he had to try and remain calm, and pray that this tom was sensible. After all, he had meant no harm. Yuki was originally intending on exploring his own territory, but that hadn't turned out as planned. No one had ever shown him around in the first place, so how was he to know the borders?

He was scared. For some reason, Claystar found that humourous. He'd never been a very intimidating cat to those who'd never had dealings with him before. Perhaps his mentor was someone who the leader had had to put in place before. It was possible. To a stranger, the only thing about the small, wiry tom that could come off as intimidating were the way his teeth were splintered.
The leader's tail flicked passively and cocked his head slightly. He did not like that the apprentince did not say anything. It wasn't a very good sign. And the fear. It rolled off of him in tidal waves. "You are on ThunderClan territory." The colourpoint tom said what was obvious to him, but apparently not so obvious to the other feline.
He had come from the direction of the Thunderpath and the ShadowClan border-- but he didn't smell of ShadowClan. He'd have to consult with the other clans at the next gathering. "Come, I'll escort you to the border. You know the rules. Stay on our own clan's territory." Claystar took a step toward ShadowClan and looked at the grey apprentince-- waiting.

Of course. "ThunderClan" territory. How pleasant. Yuki was dying to apologize, but that obviously wasn't possible. When the other tom volunteered to escort to the border, Yuki was both panicked and relieved. This stranger had turned out to be relatively friendly, or, at least, not hostile like most of the Clan cats. However, Yuki had good reason to be panicked. Border? Which border? The four Clans had no idea about the Clan he came from, and yet some how he could be taken to a border that he belonged to. Of course... There was the possibility that the wiry tom had decided that he was a Clan cat, just coming from a neighboring territory. Technically.... That was true. He did come from a Clan of sorts, though not a formal one, and the two territories apparently touched one another, which is how he ended up here.
There was nothing he could say, so the slender, pale gray tom simply nodded. Yuki was praying that this was acceptable enough.
